The design team put together by Begetube are able to deal with all the day-to-day questions that arise in the normal course of putting together a design for your project. For the more unusual query we have the senior designer and then the two technical directors (who have over 60 years experience in Heating system installation and design between them). The back up from the suppliers in Belgium can additionally offer a very high degree of theoretical knowledge with a basis in chemistry, fluid physics and engineering maths. We are therefore very confident in our claim of superior technical support

Begetube (UK) Limited is a nationwide underfloor heating company designing heating systems individually tailored to each assignment. Our technical knowledge is respected across the industry and has been called upon to help determine some of the finer points in underfloor heating theory. Our proposed launch next year of a dedicated test room for heating & underfloor heating in particular will prove of massive benefit to the profession as a whole.
Although we are best known for our underfloor heating systems we will also provide a design and specification for our manifold based plumbing and radiator system if required. We have an approved installer system in place to provide a local base of expertise. They may also have additional skills relevant to your project.
Our Strength lies in what we do we do best. We do not digress beyond our own boundaries and thus have honed our knowledge in this field to a very high standard. Our approved installerss that are distributed around the British Isles are either local specialist installers or more commonly part of the whole building trade providing an additional service with expert backup. This centralisation of knowledge works both ways allowing knowledge to the smallest detail to be available on your doorstep.

Formed in 1998, Begetube (UK) Limited almost immediately became recognised as one of the major businesses for underfloor heating in the UK. The innovative approach of finding a technical solution to each project (as opposed to a sale on the bottom line for the company) has won many converts to our mission. We still have this ethos at our core and continue to expand in a rapid but steady manner. As with any industry that deals in high technology stock, the pace of change has been exhilarating. We have embraced this and rather than grab onto shirt tails we have in a few instances led from the front, commissioning and designing our own goods and design system to improve our end products and service.
In the next year we will be investing more in the research & development side with a programme of tests in our chill room. This will not only improve our knowledge of the theoretical side but the information will be extremely beneficial to the underfloor heating industry as a whole. We will also be investing in the design infrastructure to tie all our systems together thus further speeding up our service to benefit our customers.
A review of our training system for approved installers will result in a less sporadic schedule and an increase in the course knowledgebase. The Begetube University as it’s been tagged will be rolling out in the New Year
Products: Begetube is primarily involved in the supply of pipe, controls and brassware for the heating and plumbing part of a building project. The 3 main product ranges are as follows
- Our primary range of products is underfloor heating. We have a vast range of component parts that are coupled together for your project alone. The type of system you require depends on your needs and wishes; we can tailor the system to suit your specific requirements. Full details and a comparison table are here.
- To complement our UFH system we have a manifold based radiator kit that can be specified as part the system for your project. The design of the system, based on the continental ideal allows for individual circuit control to finely balance the whole system. It also allows for individual circuit shut-off for easy maintenance.
- Using the same manifold based idea as the radiator system Begetube UK can also provide a full domestic hot water distribution system. Again flow rates can be finely tuned to allow each circuit the ideal output. Each circuit is also fitted with a shut off valve allowing easy maintenance.
Design: All heating systems need to be designed. Full stop. With a radiator system a radiator can be replaced with a bigger one should more output be required, this doesn’t help at all when it comes to boiler sizing. At Begetube we perform a heatloss calculation for each and every zone in your project. This allows us to accurately determine pipe spacings for floor heating, correctly size each radiator and provide a true total power requirement for the heating system. Which helps determine the right boiler size for your needs.
R&D: Heating systems have not changed much over the years, and even then it has been mainly cosmetic. It very recent times however we have experienced a wealth of new materials, controls and techniques. We at Begetube are constantly assessing these developments, taking the more promising ideas to testing stage. These have included an exciting and innovative control system which we have just launched onto the market and a revolutionary new combimix manifold system which is currently being prepared for market. We have also been instrumental in the idea stage with several of our current products developed especially for us.
Training: In the world of the accountant the bottom line is to be worshipped. Here at Begetube we have a sepia tint to our outlook. We believe in good old fashioned service.
To this end we believe that product knowledge is key. This achieved in the following ways.

- Design staff are taken over the technical aspects of each product.
- Design staff are also fully trained in all aspects of heating design theory and practice.
